I invite you to visit my shop by appointment where we can look through the many fabric books I have to narrow the choice to a few best options. You can then take these selections home to determine what works best in your setting. A payment of half down, cash or check, is required to order fabric and move forward.
The best way to reach me is by email - I am not always timely in checking my voice mail. I am a busy mother of three school age children and I handle my entire business so sometimes it takes some time to respond. I've outlined the process of what to expect below.
Services Offered
Start with a quote
It is necessary to actually see a piece to quote it since pricing is determined on the time involved to complete a project. Send a picture of the front, side and back of your piece along with overall dimensions. Be sure to remove visual obstructions such as throw pillows, blankets, pets, etc. before taking pictures. Also, please make sure the piece is well lit and in focus. Include any information about condition of springs, padding, frame etc. that you may want repaired or replaced and any other related concerns you may have.
I can only estimate on what I see and make suggestions for potential problems within. My quotes are itemized so you can see what individual costs are. Your project with be put in the work queue when you accept the quote and confirm you want to proceed.
I carefully consider each request I receive and take time to provide an accurate quote and relative information. Please let me know if you are only looking for a ballpark scope.
Finishing
The balance of the project is due at successful completion of the project.
Inside Surprises
On occasion there are unforeseen problems inside the piece. I will work with you to find the best solution before moving ahead.
Scheduling
I will give you an idea of when I will be able to do the work and how long it will take me to complete. My shop is tiny and I am not able to store much so I work on a relative 'Just In Time' style. This also means you will be without your piece for the shortest time possible. I will make arrangements to receive your piece within a week of beginning work on it. If you can not deliver your project to my shop, I am able to offer pick-up and delivery for manageable sized pieces for a fee.
